Originally formed in a founder members garage in Prestwick and as the the club grew , new club rooms were needed and found at Jelliston Farm near Ayr were the club thrived and started to put on small exhibitions in Mauchlin. Due to circumstances beyond their control in the early 1990's, new club rooms were sort and found in the Dunaskin Heritage Complex, Waterside, which was to become their home for the next 12 years and it as during this time that the club organised and presented their highly successful exhibition in Dunfries. However again the club had to find a new home and in late 2011 the club were given rooms in Irvine railway station under the adopt a station scheme. It was during this time that the due to the rising costs of the venue in Dumfries the club's annual exhibition has moved to Auchenharvie Academy, Stevenston, North Ayrshire. See Stevenston 2015.
